CRI听力:'Namiya' to hit Chinese theatres on Dec 29
One of the most popular Japanese writers in China, Higashino Keigo will see his 2012 novel "Miracles of the Namiya General Store" adapted into a Chinese movie on December 29th.
The Chinese movie adaptation stars Di li re ba. She attended the film's premiere Thursday.
"Tears quietly came into our eyes when we were watching the trailer. The movie is expected to soothe your soul. Without big conflicts in its plot, it is not a movie that would make moviegoers feel stressful. By contrast, people may feel comfortably warm-hearted by seeing such a movie in chilly winter."
Dilireba portrays a girl who's good at guitar. The rest of the cast features pop idol Wang Junkai and actor Dong Zijian. Chinese author Han Han is the art director for the movie which is directed by Han Jie.
The movie centers on "Namiya," who is in some way adored similar to Santa Claus. This general goods store owner is beloved by the neighborhood for offering life advice.
Japanese critics call "The Miracles of the Namiya General Store" the "most tear-inducing" story ever adapted from a Keigo Higashino novel.
