Among those listening closely this week to Chinese Premier Li Keqiang's government work report were US-based economists.
As major trading partners with one-another, the two sides are constantly looking for signals as to how their economic policies may or may not shift.
To that end, CRI's Washington correspondent Liu Kun sat down with Nicholas Lardy, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics in D.C.
