CRI听力:Luxury hotels put on special packages for Royal Wedding
London is feeling particularly patriotic in the run up to the royal wedding.
The Zetter Townhouse hotel in Clerkenwell will offer special royal packages for tourists.
Bartender Matteo Moscatelle explains.
"Our guests during the Royal wedding can stay in our Club Room. This is draped with Union Jack flags. It's really patriotic and we expect that we will be really, really busy during this time."
Guests be given a handbook on 'British Style, Correct Form, Modern Manners' to take home.
Another special touch for them is a half British half American Royal Afternoon Tea to reflect Harry and Meghan's respective countries.
Meanwhile, minutes away from Buckingham Palace, guests can experience a particularly royal package at the Hotel Cafe Royal.
As Managing Director Guillaume Marly explains, the hotel is a particularly apt place to celebrate the royals since it has hosted many of them.
"I was here 20 years ago and I was very lucky to welcome to this particular beautiful venue Princess Anne and various members of the Royal family of course."
Marly says that one of the most frequent Royal visitors was Prince Harry's mother Princess Diana.
There are two tiers to the Royal package.
The Regent Royal Wedding Package includes the overnight stay in the Regent Suite, a luxury limousine tour to the Royal wedding venue Windsor castle; Or for an even more extravagant stay, the Empire Royal Wedding Package includes all of the above and tickets to the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, the hotel's grandest historical suite: the Empire Suite, a helicopter ride above the city of London.
The UK's Tourism Alliance says that a royal wedding is worth 1 - 2 billion British Pounds to tourism in terms of publicity.
There is often an increase of around 20 percent to locations associated with the event in the following year.
An additional 600,000 people came to London for the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton in 2011.
60 percent were from the UK and 40 percent from overseas.
