CRI听力:Trade talk will be constructive if US is sincere: analyst
Chinese Foreign Ministry has issued a statement, saying the consultation with the US on economic and trade issues will be constructive as long as the U.S. delegation comes with sincerity.
Spokesperson Hua Chunying made the remarks in response to a question regarding the China visit by a U.S. delegation comprising of high-ranking trade and economic officials.
Hua says China welcomes the visit by the U.S. delegation led by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, adding the overall stability of trade relations are undoubtedly in line with the common interests of both sides.
US officials travelling to Beijing also include Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer.
Chinese Vice Premier Liu He will lead the Chinese group.
