With the G20 summit around the corner, a former official of the United Nations Development Program is calling for a stronger African observer presence within the G20 mechanism.
CRI's Tu Yun, who is covering this week's G20 Summit in Osaka, caught up earlier with Hannah Ryder, former head of policy and partnerships for UNDP China, who was taking part in an international forum on the global economy held ahead of the G20 leaders summit.
Ryder now serves as the CEO of international consultancy Development Reimagined.
