The Ideal Home Show is essential for anyone curious about gadgets and gizmos for the home and garden. From the latest 3D Televisions to futuristic looking beds, there's technology here to suit anyone's needs.

Wired Bathrooms are one of the newest trends on display. Ideal Home Show presenter Julian Milne introduces the features of this smart gadget.

"The Bathomatic connects to any homes broadband. I can ring or text it from anywhere in the world, tell the bath when I'm going to arrive home. How deep, how hot I want the water and as soon as I arrive home my bath is run, ready."

The Bathomatics remote filling process is controlled by a microprocessor, which can be linked to any iPhone or computer.

The Hi-can canopy bed is eye-catching with its clean white lines and futuristic style.

The bed includes a state-of-the-art sound system, a built in PC and Xbox games console, electric blind system and a home theatre screen. The user can control the bed's functions using an application on the iPhone or iPod Touch.

CEO of Hi-interiors Ivan Tallarico says the supervision and control solution controls are features of the bed and are also on other home appliances.

"This is the Hi-Can bed, the new canopy classic. It comes with a complete home theatre system. It also has a console entertainment system and also a PC media centre. It is also through a system, not only the bed features but also but other appliances in your home."

Making a debut at the show is Sony Television's first 3D TV the LX9O3. Barry Bain with Sony UK says:

"We're displaying our new TV the LX9O3 for one of the first times in the UK for customers so the public can get a feel for what 3D looks like."

The 52 -inch Television is priced to sell for over 3,700 US dollars with 3D glasses included.
Suzie Perry, the show's gadgets expert, says the future home gadgets will be smarter and can provide people with more convenience in their lives.

"I think gadget wise the home of the future is pretty much going to look like what we've got on stage here. It's going to be very integrated we are going to see lots of use of RFID chips (Radio-frequency identification) so they're going to monitor your food in your fridge and they are going to reorder for you. Much more automation and you're going to be able to control everything with your phone."

Founded in 1908 by the Daily Mail News Paper, the Ideal Home Show has had 60 millions visitors during its history.

The Ideal Home Show 2010 will run from Mar 20-Apr 5 in London.
