And this really is a heart-broken nation, because as you say, they had that chance in 74, and it was taken from them; they had their chance in 78, and 32 years later, they really really hoped that they might be able to win a trophy, because you know they are the only team ever to have been in the final three times and never to have made it, so very very disappointed, these fans behind me, you know, they basically, just sort of,walked off disconsolately, though a few are still hanging around, but I mean, the last few minutes of that match, you saw them clutching their heads, just sort of agony in their eyes, and then people just not wanted to talk any more, they just wanted to get out of here.Weirdly, there have been a couple of fireworks set off in the sky, you know, I obviously haven’t been able to talk to the people who let them off, but a vague instigation that they probably had the most standby and I feel they might as well get rid of them, but I tell you the mood here is not cheer, obviously, huge disappointment that that trophy is not theirs for a third time.
