2016-05-01来源:CRI

With the theme "Innovation to Transformation,"the 2016 Beijing Auto Show has 1200 vehicles. New energy vehicles featuring hybrid fuel cells account for a full 20% of the total.

Du Guozhong is the assistant to the general manager of BYD Automotive Group.

"The new energy vehicles have a positive sales trend in the booming Chinese Auto industry and enjoy the support of national policies. The sales of NEV reached 330 thousand units in 2015, and are expected to reach 5 million units in 2020. The sales of NEV would be doubled every year. NEVs have a big market, waiting for the automakers to develop."
Statistics show that about 20 million traditional fuel-powered automobiles were sold in China in 2015.

Compared with the big advantage enjoyed by imports and joint venture brands of the traditional vehicle manufacturing industry, the proportion of NEVs is very small.
At the 2016 Beijing Auto Show, Beijing Automobile New Energy Vehicle Co., the top seller of purely electric vehicle in China, launched a model with a 400km range, almost the same maximum mileage of the Tesla electric car.

Meanwhile, with the rapid spread of the electric charging facilities, the obstacles of charging and range anxiety vanish, which means that NEV will accelerate the entire automobile industry.

Fan Xing is the deputy general manager of Chery Automobile Company.

"NEV is a trend for the future, whether in the international or the domestic market. The economic environment right now is not very good, but as for China's automobile industry, the sales growth would maintain 10% every year by 2020. We are very optimistic about the auto market, especially with the continuously developing NEV as well as the traditional car market. "

Self-driving vehicles are on display at the Auto Show as well.

Models including Changan's RAETON, and LeAuto's new all-white LeSee concept car have been equipped with relatively mature self-driving functions.

For this magic new technology, CEO of Bosch (China) investment limited company, Chen Yudong, explained that self-driving and other auxiliary functions may bring about a real technological revolution in the future.

"Self-driving function will become stronger and stronger. The advanced driver assistance system, autopilot, automatic tracking, collision anticipation, automatic parking space search function, etc. will be developed step by step. Although full-automation is the direction, self-driving is available under specific conditions. I think the next 10 years will witness development in those fields in addition to fully automatic driving.

Chen added that private self-driving is still subject to calculation and processing of complex information.

The 2016 Beijing Auto Show runs till May 4.
