Hi there, I'm Virginia Cha at the cnn Center in Atlanta with a look at what's happening NOW IN THE NEWS.

We have been following some breaking news out of Chicago for you where police have found a child's body possibly Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew. They found the body in a white SUV. The vehicle was the focus of an Amber Alert issued for seven-year-old Julian King; the little boy was missing since Friday's shooting deaths of Hudson's mother and brother at their Chicago home. The Oscar winning actress has offered 100,000-dollar reward for the safe return of her sister's son.

You could see another cut in interest rates this week. The Federal Reserve is looking for ways to get people and businesses to start spending money again. Some expect the Fed to drop the key rate half a percentage point to one percent that would take rates to their lowest point in more than four years. The Fed's two-day meeting ends Wednesday.

It could soon be easier for you to borrow money from certain banks, that's because nine major banks are about to get the first slice of the government's 700-billion-dollar rescue plan. They signed a deal with the Treasury Department yesterday that will give them 125 billion dollars this week. It's designed to put banks in a better position to make loans and help ease this financial crisis.

The race for the White House is in the final stretch this week. The presidential hopefuls are stumping hard in battleground states. Now Senator John McCain starting off in Ohio then to Pennsylvania. His running-mate governor Sarah Palin campaigning today in Virginia. Senator Barack Obama also in Ohio, his running mate Senator Joe Biden travels to North Carolina and Florida.

And Philadelphia is on the verge of winning its first major sports championship in 25 years. Last night the Phillies rocked the Tampa Bay Rays 10-2 in Game 4 the World Series. They now lead the best-of-seven series three games to one, Game 5 tonight in Philadelphia. (WWw.hxen.net)
