Delusion in south Louisiana has led to severe flash flooding.Lafourche officials in Lafayette Parish,are using boats,dump trucks,anything they can to help stranded people evacuate.Sheriff captain Craig Stansbury,says some 15 inches of rain fell in just six hours.
There was a forecasts of some heavy rains but I don't think the one could predict the amount of rain that was going to,that we are getting to get in a short amount of time.
Thankfully there are no reports of injuries.
We are learning more about the US army soldier accused of going door to door in Afghanistan,Kandahar Province,Sunday and gunning down 16 civilians.More than half of those victims appeared to have been children.cnn Christopher Lawrence is following the story for us from the Pentagon.
