Themission to fill up gap or shortage or products made out of recycle materials inIndia, hangs the brand name green the gap. But this little known Indian enterpriseis now going head-to-head with a giant multi-national receiving a legal noticefrom San Francisco based retailer Gap.

Whatis your reaction when you receive this legal notice from Gap?

I wassurprised and I was angry that how cooperation like Gap which is so huge to getoffended by a small entity factory, entity like green the gap. Then what we dois completely different from what Gap does, the recycle the up cycle if you aretrying to quit livelihood for people like these in terms of people who aredealing with waste and also for many people who made things waste .

Thenotice accused equal eco-entrepreneur, Vimlendu Jha are adopting the name gapin his company's products and website with quote "mollified intention totake undue advantage of Gap's reputation and good will. John says the claimsare unwarranted.

Thisis completely bizarre because that wasn't our intention. That is not even themeaning of bringing the gap. There is no connection between gap and green thegap.

Thenotice also ordered John to stop using the word gap in any manner.

Ithought it was an absolute case of corporate belief and I will stand against it.If you look at the legal notice the gap had sent us, it was veryintermediating thing ,that will rewriting over the good will and then they aresuch a big ,big company , a multi-billion- dollar company. But that is notbeing that come to my country and tell me not to use the word gap .Gap wouldnot comment on the notice citing legal matters .But in a statement to cnn ,Gapsaid indeed is a market it is exploring ,though there is no plant time table.With dozens of global retailers looking to enter the country's 500billion-dollar retailer sector, Jha worrys other small locally businesses willbe in his words bullied.
