1. He's gone to lunch.
Secretary: Hello.Francis Matthew's office.
Jones: Is Mr Matthews there ,please?
Secretary: I'm afraid Mr Matthews is out.
Jones: Out?
Secretary: Yes,he's out. He's gone to lunch.He's gone to a restaurant ,I think.
Jones: When is he coming back, please?
Secretary: He's coming back at two o'clock .Sorry ,He's coming back at two.
He's coming back at three. Can I take a message for him?
Jones: No,thank you.
2.They are outside.
Bob: look, It's quarter past three, We're going back to work .Are you ready ,Mary?
Mary: Yes, I'm ready, Let's go.
Francis: No,please don't go .It's nice here,Let's have some coffee.
Mary: Oh, all right .Where's the waitress?
Bob: I don't know.Perhaps she's inside.
Francis: I'll go inside and look for her.
Jim: Excuse me ,I'm looking for Mr Francis Matthews.
Receptionist: Mr Matthews? Oh,yes,He's having lunch with some friends, They're outside.
Jim: Excuse me, I'm looking for Francis Matthews.
Bob: Oh, He's inside.
Jim; Is he coming back?
Bob: Oh,yes,I think so.He's getting some coffee.
3.Where have you been?
Wife: Ah! There you are !Where have you been?
Husband: I've been to the football match.Where have you been?
Wife: I've been here at home __waiting for you.
__Ah,there you are .
__Sorry,I'm late .I've been to the shops.Where have you been?
__I've been at work.I've been in the offfice.
__Hello,Jill.Where have you been?
__I've been on holiday.I've been to majorca.
