For Africa, a Possible New Way to Treat Sleeping Sickness

1.Now scientists in Scotland say they may have found a new treatment.

You may have read some account of the matter.(关于这件事你可能已经听过一些描述
了。)

Mathews may have written that letter.(马修斯可能已写了那封信。)

Is it likely to rain,do you think?(错误的句子是:May it rain?)

2.The scientists also tested the treatment on laboratory mice with sleeping sickness.

The leaders present at the meeting totalled eight.

This is a subject worthy of careful study.

a question different from this one= a different question from thisone

3.And the side effects of the treatment can be serious, sometimes even causing death.

can be serious表示猜测

Who can that be at the door?(门外会是谁?)

Can it be Susan?(她会上哪儿去了呢?)

4.He says a less costly, easy-to-use medicine for sleeping sickness is badly needed.
