inspire – v. to make (someone) want to do something; to give (someone) an idea about what to do or create
adolescent – n. a young person who is developing into an adult
junk – n. old things that have been thrown away or that have little value
teeter – v. to move in an unsteady way back and forth or from side to side (often used figuratively)
turning point – n. a time when an important change happens
make-up – n. a special test for a student who has missed or failed a previous test (In this case, Adele is talking about a record, not a test).
ain’t – contraction am not (Ain't is usually regarded as an error, but it is common in the very informal speech of some people and it is also used in informal and humorous phrases.)
