娱乐英语新闻:Susan Boyle hospitalized after talent show loss
BEIJING, June 1 (Xinhuanet) -- Susan Boyle, who lost in the final of the popular "Britain's Got Talent" television contest Saturday, has been admitted to a private clinic after she reportedly suffered an "emotional breakdown" at her hotel in London Sunday, British media reported.
Boyle, the 48-year-old church volunteer, had been hot favourite to win the talent show on the weekend, but could only take second place.

Boyle's clips of her earlier appearance were downloaded nearly 200 million times and she was hailed the world over as a superstar. She had been heavily backed to beat nine other finalists Saturday, but a dance group called Diversity managed to stage a victory.
Boyle received 20 percent of the 4 million audience votes that decided the show's winner.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown told a British television that he had spoken to show's judges -- Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan-- to check on Boyle’s progress.
"I hope Susan Boyle is OK because she is a really, really nice person and I think she will do well," said Brown.
