LOS ANGELES, March 12 (Xinhua) -- The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office refused to comment Friday on the specifics of the prescripted medicines found in the late eighties heartthrob Corey Haim's apartment but said there was no evidence of foul play involving the actor's death.

The 38-year-old Haim, who died Wednesday, reportedly had prescriptions for Vicodin, Valium, haloperidol and a muscle relaxant in the Burbank apartment he shared with his mom. Police have retrieved four bottles containing the medications and bearing Haim's name. The medication are reported prescribed by a Los Angeles psychiatrist in the same day several days before he died. The Los Angeles County coroner's office said no evidence of foul play existed. The late Canada-born actor was battling flu-like symptoms in the days before his death.

But the coroner has declined to state a cause of death pending the results of toxicology tests. The toxicology tests could last two month before any conclusions can be reached.

Haim's manager Mark Heaslip was reported to claim that his client confided he knew he had a heart condition: "He told me he had a skip in his heart, nothing major." Heaslip believed the heart condition may have possibly played a role in Haim's death and expressed doubts that the actor was back in the grip of deadly addiction.

Haim collapsed in his mother's apartment in Burbank early Wednesday and was pronounced dead 2 1/2 hours later.
