娱乐英语新闻:Sandra Bullock not looking for divorce lawyer

BEIJING, March 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock has not been seeking a divorce lawyer, and reports of her doing so are "completely false," the actress's representative told PEOPLE magazine.

"Neither she nor her representatives have contacted or shopped around for divorce lawyers," said her rep Tuesday.

TMZ.com earlier reported that "multiple" anonymous sources had told the site that both the "Blind Side" actress and her husband, celebrity mechanic Jesse James, were "lawyering up" to prepare for court battle.

According to TMZ, Bullock's representatives "had been in touch with several high-end divorce lawyers," while James's reps had "contacted several lawyers" in case Bullock filed for divorce following his reported infidelity.

Bullock's rep also denied an Internet report that on Sunday night Bullock dined with producers to discuss an upcoming project in which she would play Meryl Streep's daughter.

"The entire report," said the rep, "is another piece of fiction."
