BEIJING, March 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, who claimed an affair with Oscar winner Sandra Bullock’s husband, Jesse James, has been in the teeth of the storm, but her father Denny McGee is trying to defend the tattooed model, as media reported on Sunday.

“She told me that she was going out with Jesse James, the motorcycle guy,” Denny McGee told FOX Cleveland affiliate FOX 8 News. “I’m like, ‘Oh, I thought he was married to Sandra Bullock.’She goes,‘Well, they were, but now they have a thing where they kind of live apart.’"

Denny McGee claimed that Michelle "Bombshell" McGee got out of control after spotting Jesse James and Sandra Bullock together at the Academy Awards.

"She was under the impression they weren’t seeing each other," Denny McGee told WJW-TV, a Fox affiliate in Cleveland.

"She felt betrayed ... she felt like she was going to have a relationship, and this happened, and she was mad."

The elder McGee, a barber, said his daughter had been under the impression James and Bullock were separated.
