娱乐英语新闻:Blur to record new songs after "Fool's Day"
BEIJING, May 12 (Xinhuanet) -- Blur is planning to record more new songs, according to the band's frontman Damon Albarn, media reported Wednesday.
The band recorded its first full song since 2003 recently, called "Fool's Day". The track was released for the Record Store Day celebrations.
"I'm definitely going to do a few more of those 7 inches and at some point in the undetermined future there will be a record at the end of it," Albarn told the NME.
"I love the no pressure aspect. Just going in the studio and recording it in a day is something we haven't done since the B-sides in the early days," he added.
However, Albarn said the band would not be able to record an entire album in the near future. "We can't do it all the time, so I don't want anyone to think there's an album coming soon," he said.
Albarn has been busy playing live dates with Gorillaz recently and earlier this week announced a UK and Ireland tour for this September.
