BEIJING, May 18 (Xinhuanet) -- Oscar nominated actress Amy Adams gave birth to her first child on Saturday, her representative confirmed to UsMagzine.com.

"Mom and baby are home and doing great, everyone's healthy and happy." Adams' rep was quoted as saying to Access Hollywood.

The "Julie and Julia" actress and her fiance, actor Darren Le Gallo, named their baby daughter Aviana Olea Legallo, according to UsMagazine.com

Adams and Le Gallo met in 2001 and got engaged in 2008. Last December she announced that she was pregnant, saying she was quite excited about being a mom.
