娱乐英语新闻:Radcliffe sad as filming wraps on last "Potter"

BEIJING, June 15 (Xinhuanet) -- British actor Daniel Radcliffe wore his “Harry Potter” attire for the last time last week as shooting wrapped on the final installment of the series.

“Every one was really devastated. It was really, really sad,” Radcliffe said Sunday. “We’re crying quite a lot.”

He talked about Potter as he arrived for the 64th Annual Tony Awards in New York, where he and Katie Holmes presented the best featured actress in a play award to Scarlett Johansson.

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” will be released in two parts with the first installment coming out later this year, and the finale next summer.

When asked how it felt to end his role as the boy wizard, Radcliffe said, “It’s a weird, weird feeling.”

Radcliffe, who starred in a revival of “Equus” in 2008, returns to Broadway next spring in a revival of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”
