娱乐英语新闻:Mariah Carey sued over vet bill
BEIJING, June 25 (Xinhuanet) -- A veterinarian named Cindy Bressler sued Wednesday pop singer Mariah Carey for owing her a bill of nearly 30,000 U.S. dollars, according to foreign media reports.
The vet claimed she provided "extraordinary services" for the star’s three prize-winning Jack Russell terriers. However, Carey only paid her 8,200 of the total 37,800 bill.
Bressler's lawyer declined to explain in details what the dogs' treatment are.

The several-times Grammy winner is known by all as a dog lover who often tweets about her pets. Her rep Cindi Berger says Carey is "a huge dog lover, as her fans around the world know," as quoted by AP.
No comments have been made from the star’s side on the lawsuit so far.
Carey, 40, boasts 18 Billboard No. 1 hit songs, second only to The Beatles. The diva has sold more than 50 million albums during her 20-year career.
