娱乐英语新闻:Andy Lau, Gong Li to collaborate for 1st time
BEIJING, July 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Andy Lau and Gong Li, both highly popular among Chinese movie-goers, will collaborate for the first time on a romantic comedy that is a Chinese remake of the American film "What Women Want", Sohu.com reports.
Lau and Gong appeared together on Wednesday in Beijing to introduce the film to local media.

In the movie, Lau will play a manager at an advertising firm who can read women's minds. He uses the ability to tackle his boss, played by Gong Li, but ends up falling in love with her.
Previous reports suggested that Mel Gibson, who starred in the original version of the movie, was likely to make a guest appearance in the Chinese remake.
Filming is underway.
