BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Pop star Britney Spears denied a former bodyguard's accusations that she sexually harassed him and mistreated her children, media reported Friday.
Fernando Flores, who began working for Spears in February, filed a lawsuit against the pop star on Wednesday.
Spears posted a statement on her website to respond to the incident the next day.

"This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself," the statement said.
"The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without further action."
"Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts," her statement said.
Flores' lawsuit claims Spears made repeated, unwanted sexual advances, summoned him to her room to expose her naked body and "engaged in numerous sex acts" in front of him.
Flores is seeking unspecified damages.
