娱乐英语新闻:Xu Jinglei, Li Yapeng in new romantic film

BEIJING, Sept. 23 (Xinhuanet) -- A group of photo stills have been released for the Chinese romantic film "Jiang Ai" (literally "To Love").

Director Zhang Yibai has reunited actress Xu Jinglei and actor Li Yapeng from his 1998 TV drama "Jiang Ai Qing Jin Xing Dao Di" ("Cherish Our Love Forever") for a follow-up film.

The original story about an unfulfilled campus romance between Wen Hui (Xu) and Yang Zheng (Li) won many hearts.

The stills show Wen Hui and Yang Zheng coming together 12 years later and enjoying each other's company in the French port city of Bordeaux. The photos also introduce a new character played by singer-turned-actress He Jie, suggesting a love triangle.

Director Zhang hopes to release the film next Valentine's Day.
