娱乐英语新闻:Lindsay Lohan checks into rehab

BEIJING, Sept. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Hollywood troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has checked into rehab to seek treatment in a live-in facility in Southern California, according to TMZ reports on Wednesday.

The source said that she made the decision on her own and planned to stay there until her Oct. 22 court date.

Michael Lohan, Lindsay's father, confirmed the reports, saying,  "Yea she definitely has (gone back to rehab)."

Los Angeles court officials said Lohan's probation had been revoked and a formal warrant for her arrest had been issued after she failed a court-ordered drug test a few weeks following her release from jail and a subsequent stint in drug rehabilitation.

Lindsay was recently in rehab, but was released early and failed two court appointed drug tests shortly after, which resulted in her short stay in jail last Friday.

She was released after posting a bail of 300,000 U.S. dollars.
