娱乐英语新闻:"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," Emimen top winners at People's Choice Awards
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- The vampire-themed "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" was the biggest winner at the 37th People's Choice Awards Wednesday night, walking away with three awards while Eminem prevailed at four music categories.
The vampire flick garnered favorite movie, among other two honors. Kristen Stewart, who played Bella Swan in the romantic drama, took the favorite movie actress award, joining co-actors Robert Pattingson and Talyor Lautner in being chosen as favorite on screen team.
Eminem won four awards including favorite male artist, favorite song, favorite hip-hop artist and favorite music video.
Winners of the awards are chosen through online voting, which ended last month in all categories except for favorite new TV drama and new TV comedy.
In television categories, Fox Broadcasting dominated the event. "House," "Glee," "American Idol," "Lie to Me," Fringe" and the Simpsons were awarded as favorite drama, comedy, competition show, TV crime drama, sci-fi/fantasy show and TV family respectively.
Fox also prevailed at the event as four actors who appeared at its TV series were honored. The honorees include Hugh Laurie, Lisa Edelstein, Jane Lynch and Tim Roth.
The event was hosted by actress Queen Latifah and broadcast live by CBS.
