娱乐英语新闻:Peter Lindbergh to hold solo exhibition in China
BEIJING, March 31 (Xinhuanet) -- Peter Lindbergh, the prominent fashion photographer, will have his first solo exhibition in China that opens on April 1 at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing.
"The Unknown", as the exhibition is entitled, "is a gigantic remix without order or chronology, a visual journey through decades of images, a story sure to be continued in future episodes," Jerome Sans, the art center's director, wrote in an introduction.
Lindbergh, who will turn 67 this November, is credited with launching the '80s global supermodel phenomenon with his widely applauded black-and-white images of a slew of top models, including Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell.
The photographer will talk about his works on-site at the exhibition's opening reception.
