国内英语新闻:Chinese vice president discusses co-op with Finnish president

He said China appreciates Finland's persistent adherence to the one-China policy and its understanding and support regarding the issues related to Tibet, anti-terrorism and human rights.

After their meeting, the two leaders attended the signing ceremony of economic and technological cooperation documents.

The Chinese vice-president proposed three aspects that the two countries can cooperate further in -- firstly, expansion of cooperation in such new sectors as environmental protection, energy saving, emission reduction, financing and exchange of labor forces; secondly, encouragement of two-way investment, and thirdly, further strengthening of cultural exchanges.

The Finnish president spoke highly of Xi's visit, which coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
