体坛英语新闻:Massa hopes for the crowds support and luck to win F-1
Before entering his largest challenge and last race of the season, Felipe Massa arrived on Tuesday in his native country for a couple days of rest.
The last race will either make or break Massa's season. He hopes to have the support of the Brazilian fans to push him in front of his main competitor, Luis Hamilton.
"The pressure of the home crowd can only help. I have always loved to race at home in Brazil. I know that I will be able to absorb anything that comes my way and make the best out of it," said the pilot of the Ferrari team.
Once again, the Brazilian stage will decide the F1 champion. Massa finds himself seven points behind Hamilton. It will be a difficult task to make up those points, but is not impossible.
In 2006, Massa was the first Brazilian to stand atop the podium of the Formula 1 world since Ayrton Senna since 1993.
Massa needs to win or to come in second place and hope that Hamilton does not place any better than sixth. The competition will take place on November 2nd. However, due to the countless publicity appearances and obligations with his sponsors, the driver has arrived in Brazil without plenty of time to rest, relax and concentrate
