BERLIN, April 18 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian international Goalgetter Grafite's double goals availed German Bundesliga leaders Wolfburg of 2-1 win against Leverkusen on Saturday, the ten straight win for the "Wives" which equalized the Bundesliga record.

    The victory also keeps Wolfsburg's top position in the standings and retains their three-point lead to Bayern Munich, signaling an important step towards their first-ever Bundesliga title.

    Bayer Leverkusen remains on 9th place at the Bundesliga table, and the former German football giant may forget their ambitions to play in international competition.

    Wolfsburg started playing predominantly, but it was a penalty that brought the first goal of the match. Bundesliga top scorer and Wolfsburg striker Grafite converted with a right footed shot to the bottom right corner an “unsaveable” goal in the 22nd minute.
