WASHINGTON, July 27 (Xinhua) -- Twice NBA MVP Steve Nash has signed a two-year contract extension with the Phoenix Suns, the club said Monday.

    The 35-year-old point guard has averaged 14.4 points and eight assists over his 13-year NBA career.

    "Steve is still one of the best point guards in the NBA, and his dedication to conditioning will keep him among the league's elite for several more seasons," Suns' general manager Steve Kerr said in a statement.
