体坛英语新闻:Robinho eludes fans upon Brazil's arrival
RIO DE JANEIRO, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Robinho, English Premier League Manchester City striker, arrived in Brazil's Sao Paulo on Saturday without leaking news of his exact comeback to fans and media.
Robinho was loaned to Brazil's Santos, who landed in the Guarulhos international airport without any crowds of fans or media surrounding him.
According to Robinho's spokesperson, Evandro de Souza, Robinho left the airport and headed directly to his home in the costal city of Guaruja.
In his farewell with Manchester City, Robinho declared that he would arrive in Brazil on Monday, Feb. 1. However, the athlete decided to arrive two days early in order to avoid any sort of media attention.
Robinho reached a deal on Jan. 28 that brings him back to Santos for a six month loan from Manchester City. The athlete hopes to find his rhythm and get back into form, catching the attention of Dunga and earning a starting position on the Brazilian national team.
Robinho is scheduled to receive a hero's presentation on Feb. 1 surrounded by fanfare. The player may make an appearance at Santos for the fifth round match of the Sao Paulo state championship against Oeste on Saturday night.
