体坛英语新闻:Sevilla wins Spain's Copa del Rey
MADRID, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Goals from Diego Capel and Jesus Navas gave Sevilla a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the final of Spain's Copa del Rey.
Atletico had traveled to Barcelona's Camp Nou Stadium in the hope of adding the Copa del Rey to the Europa League that they won in Hamburg a week ago.
However, despite controlling the game for long periods, it was not to be for the side from the capital.
Sevilla's Jesus Navas celebrates his goal against Atletico Madrid during their King's Cup final soccer match at Nou Camp stadium in Barcelona May 19, 2010.
After a frantic start Sevilla took the lead after five minutes, Jesus Navas cut in from the right and although his left foot shot was blocked the ball ran to Diego Capel who smashed a left foot shot past David de Gea, who only saw the ball at the last moment.

An increasingly bad tempered affair saw Atletico defender Perea make a bad mistake in his penalty area, but Renato was unable to stab a close range shot past De Gea.
Meanwhile Jose Antonio Reyes was a constant threat for Atletico Madrid, although his side's best chance before the break was a shot from Forlan that Palop pushed past the post.
Alvaro Negredo, who had been allowed to play the game by the Spanish FA's appeal's committee, missed a great chance to seal the game for Sevilla just before the hour. Freddy Kanoute controlled the ball with his back to goal and set his teammate through, but Negreo's shot was at a savable height for De Gea and too close to the body of the Atletico keeper.
It was still an open game and after 75 minutes Palop again denied Forlan with a flying save from the Uruguayan's volley.
Two minutes earlier the game had been disrupted by ugly scenes between both teams following a nasty challenge from Perea on Capel. The incident ended with the Sevilla matchday delegate sent into the stands by referee Mejuto Gonzlaez, who was officiating his last game before retirement.
Navas sealed the win in the closing minutes of the game, the winger collected a long pass, beat Antonio Lopez and De Gea before scoring his side's second goal and assuring the title for his team.
