体坛英语新闻:Marathon tennis match still going after 7 hours, 6 minites
Beijing, June 24 (Xinhaunet) -- The record-breaking match between France's Nicolas Mahut and American John Isner has gone on for 10 hours in two days and still isn't finished, according to media reports Thursday morning.
Play was suspended with the players tied at 59-59 in the fifth set because of darkness.
Isner and Mahut's still unfinished fifth set alone stands at 7 hours, 6 minutes. The match time shattered the previous record of 6 hours, 33 minutes -- set at the 2004 French Open between Fabrice Santoro and Arnaud Clement.

"We fought like never before," said Mahut. "It was amazing. The fans stayed the whole way. They wanted to see it finish."
The fans gave the players a standing ovation at 50-all — and when the players walked off for the night.
