RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Sao Paulo's star midfielder and current member of the Brazilian national soccer team, Hernanes, was announced on Monday to currently on the bidding table for the Italian team Lazio.

The athlete is expected to remain with Sao Paulo until the end of the team's participation in the 2010 Liberatdores Cup.

The value for the purchase of Hernanes is rumored to be worth 13.5 million Euros. The athlete is expected to sign a contract for five years.
