国际英语新闻:Comoros VP accuses France over Yemenia air crash
Speaking to France 24 television, Nadhoim said: "We wish the French could have informed us about any irregularities or any problems with the plane."
"It could have been easier for us if France had communicated with us their list of Airbus planes that are not good to fly, which is not the case."
Nadhoim stressed that passengers' safety is the top priority on flights.
"What is this discrimination between French passengers that have to be protected in France and those French people who are left to fly in these kinds of planes?" asked Nadhoim.
France's Transport Minister Dominique Bussereau said on Tuesday that the French civil aviation authority (DGAC) had detected a number of faults with the A310 aircraft in 2007.
The Yemenia Airbus A310 crashed off the Comoros into the Indian Ocean on Tuesday, with 153 people on board.
