WASHINGTON, March 26 (Xinhua) -- A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Chile on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
According to the U.S. agency, the quake, which occurred at about 10:52 a.m. local time (1452 GMT), was centered 380 miles ( 611 km) north of Chilean capital Santiago, at a depth of 21.7 miles (35 km). It was felt slightly in Santiago.
