2010-03-29来源:和谐英语

SIRTE, Libya, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa on Sunday called for a dialogue between the Arab countries and Iran to address differences.

"We need to see where we differ and where we disagree with Iran and how to deal with that. Iran is not an enemy and dialogue will help bring about peace and stability in the region," Moussa told reporters following the conclusion of the 22nd Arab Summit in the Libyan city of Sirte.

Moussa said the Arab Peace Initiative Committee will hold a meeting in a few weeks to discuss whether to continue indirect Palestinian-Israeli talks or look into following another track in this regard.

"We cannot enter another vicious circle to be added to the other previous vicious circles and end up with zero result. We are really very fed up and the ball is now in the court of Israel," Moussa added.

Earlier in the day, Moussa announced at the closing session a decision by the Arab leaders to hold an extraordinary summit before October to discuss overhauling of the pan-Arab organization.
