国际英语新闻:Turkish PM not worried about Iran's uranium enriching
He assured that Turkey would monitor that the 10 points on the agreement were followed through, and said there was no point anticipating failure, "If Iran doesn't abide by the agreement, then we should discuss what to do."
He added it was silly to accuse Iran of enriching uranium regardless of the swap deal, saying every country had a right to enrich uranium for peaceful use.
However, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner expressed his concern about the enriching move by Iran.
Nevertheless, he praised Turkey for having arranged a very difficult agreement, "Turkey and Brazil tried very hard, my friend (Turkish foreign minister) Davutoglu said it took 18 hours of discussion, and a very small window was opened."
He said that the swap may lead to peace yet Iran had still insisted it would continue its own enrichment program even after the agreement.
