国际英语新闻:50 NATO supply tankers attacked near Islamabad, leaving 6 killed, 5 injured
ISLAMABAD, June 9 (Xinhua) -- At least six persons were killed and another five injured when 10 to 12 unknown gunmen reportedly attacked 50 NATO tankers carrying oil and other essentials for supply in Afghanistan near Islamabad early Wednesday morning.
The attack took place in Tarnol area, some 50 kilometers southwest of Islamabad. Twenty six suspected attackers were reportedly arrested in the search operation following the attack.

Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik has ordered a probe into the incident and demanded a report on the attack in three days.
Police sources said ensuring safety of oil tankers is the responsibility of NATO.
So far no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
