国际英语新闻:Support rate for Japan's new cabinet jumps to 61.5%: Kyodo survey
TOKYO, June 9 (Xinhua) -- The approval rating for Japan's new cabinet jumped to 61.5 percent, Kyodo News reported, citing its first nationwide opinion poll conducted Tuesday and Wednesday following the inauguration of Prime Minister Naoto Kan and his cabinet.
The figure represents a vigorous rebound from a low of 19.1 percent for the cabinet of Yukio Hatoyama, Kan's predecessor.
Meanwhile, the support rate for the DPJ climbed to 43.8 percent from 36.1 percent in the previous survey the news agency conducted last week.

The new premier on Tuesday unveiled the lineup of his new cabinet, which was formally launched later in the day following an attestation ceremony at the Imperial Palace.
