2010-07-27来源:和谐英语

TEHRAN, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Iran is ready to resume talks over its nuclear fuel swap without conditions, Iran's representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Monday, while Foreign Ministry criticized fresh EU sanctions against the country.

Iran has submitted a letter on resuming talks over the nuclear fuel swap to IAEA, representative Ali Asghar Soltanieh told the semi-official Fars news agency in Vienna, adding the letter was given to IAEA Director General Yukio Amano.

The letter, jointly provided by Iran's National Security Supreme Council and Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, expresses Iran's readiness for unconditional talks on nuclear fuel swap, according to Fars.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gestures while speaking for his supporters during his visit of the city of Shahrekord in Chahar Mahal va Bakhtiari province, 521 km (326 miles) south west of Tehran June 16, 2010.

"The main message of the letter is Iran's complete readiness to attend the talks over providing fuel for Tehran's reactor," Soltanieh said.

"Iran is ready to initiate the talks with the other side, without any precondition and in the earliest time ... in Vienna and within the framework of IAEA over providing the fuel for ( Tehran's) reactor," he was quoted as saying.

"The director general of IAEA said that he will forward the letter to the U.S., Russia and France," Fars quoted Soltanieh as saying.
