NEW DELHI, July 29 (Xinhua) -- British Prime Minister David Cameron Thursday urged Pakistan to crack down any terror group operating within the country and said Britain will not accept any terror group within Pakistan.

At a joint press conference with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Cameron said no one was in "any doubt" that there were terrorist groups operating in Pakistan.

"We will encourage Pakistan to crack down on terror groups," he said here when winding up a two-day visit to India.

"We want to work with Pakistan to make it fight Lashkar-e-Toiba and Afghan or Pakistan Taliban. We will discuss with the Pakistan leadership frankly, clearly and openly on steps to contain terror from its soil. Pakistan government has taken steps and it needs to take further steps to reduce terrorism in Afghanistan, India and the streets of London," he added.

On a two-day visit to India, the British prime minister oversaw a multi-million pound defence deal with India Wednesday.

Under the deal, Britain will be able to export British civil nuclear technology to India for the first time.
