国际英语新闻:DPRK says South Korea's imposing sanctions on Iran harm others, itself
PYONGYANG, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said Thursday that South Korea's imposing sanctions on Iran with the United States harms others and itself, the official news agency KCNA reported.
According to the KCNA, the spokesman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea issued a statement that South Korea's decision to take part in sanctions against Iran disclosed it was "absolutely obedient to the orders of the United States." The South Korean authorities will "pay heavy price for that," the spokesman said.
Officials with the U.S. State Department and Finance Ministry visited South Korea not long ago. The South Korean authorities decided to take part in the sanctions against Iran.
