笨小孩口语广播:法国式的告别

2008-09-02来源:
   “发音模仿秀”语音模仿,秀出一口漂亮英语

  1) I am feeling under the weather.
  NOTE1: 注意/w/和/v/的发音要领;
  NOTE2: It means that I am not feeling very well.

  2) He took French leave.
  NOTE1: French要大写,而且要注意这句话法国人不是很喜欢;
  NOTE2: It means that he left without saying good-bye!

  “世博VOA”洗耳恭听,两个句子小菜一碟!

  Here is a story:

  Tim is not feeling very well today. He told me that he was sorry for Carry. In fact, 1st, July was his red-letter day, for he married Susana on that day. They had invited Carry to attend their wedding ceremony. Carry came, but before the end of the wedding ceremony, Carry took French leave. Nobody knew the reason why, but someone had noticed that when she left, she was pulling a long face. Tim is wondering whether they have done something wrong on that day.

  1) I am feeling under the weather. 我不大舒服。
  2) He took French leave. 他不辞而别。

  “请你猜猜看”挑战自我,情景抢答也刺激!

  Here are three situations:

  S1. At the party, he was quiet at the beginning. Nobody knew what had happened to him. When people decided to ask him why, he had left without telling anyone. What do we name this kind of leave?

  S2. I am not feeling very well now and I will go to see a doctor. When the doctor asks me what is the matter, how should I answer?

  S3. He was so angry at what he said at the ceremony. What do you think he would do next?
