  1) I got off on the wrong foot.
  NOTE1: 注意用的是foot,而不是feet;
  NOTE2: It means that I met with trouble at the beginning.

  2) I have bigger fish to fry.
  NOTE1: to的弱读要注意;
  NOTE2: It means that I have something important to do.

  “世博VOA”洗耳恭听,两个句子小菜一碟!

  Here is a story:

  When I first came here to teach, I got off on the wrong foot. At that time, I was only 24 years old and some of my students didn't listen to me. It was natural, for I was so young and I didn't even look like a teacher. From then on, I made up my mind to learn more and to communicate with my students more. Little by little, I was up on the teaching road. Still, I have bigger fish to fry next year. That is to say, I am planning to join an English teaching website to teach more students. I hope that in the future, my students are all over the world.

  1) I got off on the wrong foot. 我出师不利。
  2) I have bigger fish to fry. 我有更重要的事情要做。
