实用英语口语：别“找麻烦”！

如果说世界上有什么事情是人人都避之唯恐不及的，那“麻烦”肯定就是其中之一了。只是有时候虽然我们自己不找“麻烦”，“麻烦”还是会来找你哦！今天我们就来看看“找麻烦”怎么说。

1. Ask for trouble （自）找麻烦

一提到“麻烦”，大家首先想到的肯定是trouble。Ask for trouble 这个片语的意思就是“create problems; look for difficulties，（自）找麻烦”，例如：

Drinking before driving is asking for trouble.

酒后驾车是自找麻烦。

这个片语还有一个变体，是look for trouble：

Don't go to the boss! You're just looking for trouble if you bring it to his attention.

别去找老板！你让他注意到这件事纯粹就是自找麻烦。

2. Cause someone trouble / get someone into trouble 添乱

“给自己找麻烦”是 ask for trouble，那“给别人找麻烦”呢？就是 cause someone trouble 和 get someone into trouble了。例如：

The boy caused a lot of trouble to his parents.

这个男孩给他的父母招来很多麻烦。

The boy gets his girl into trouble.

男孩使他的女友未婚怀孕。（get a girl into trouble有“让女孩未婚先孕”的意思，对女孩来说，应该是最大的麻烦了。）

Get someone into trouble 还可以表示“让自己陷入困境，自找麻烦”，例如：

Lying about your age can get you into trouble.

在年龄上撒谎可能会让你有麻烦的。

3. Rock the boat 找麻烦

除了常用的trouble这个词，我们再给大家介绍一个常用的“找麻烦”俚语。Rock the boat 这个片语的意思是“Disturb a stable situation”，有点“打破稳定局面，没事挑刺”的意思，例如：

An easygoing manager, he won't rock the boat unless it's absolutely necessary.

除非必要，这个随和的经理不会打破当前的局面的。

Don‘t rock the boat! Things are fine just the way they are.

别找麻烦了，事情这样就够好了。

这个片语来源于驾船的经历，当你驾驶一艘小船（比如独木舟）的时候，一定不想它晃地太厉害吧，所以就不要 rock the boat 了。

4. In hot water 有麻烦

陷在热水里的滋味肯定不怎么好受，所以 in hot water 就是表示“有麻烦”了。例如：

He is in hot water with his girlfriend recently.

近段时间他跟女友的关系有点僵。
