哲理散文:人生的完整 The Wholeness Of Life

Life is not a trap set for us by God so that he can condemn us for failing. Life is not a spelling bee（拼字比赛会） , where no matter how many words you've gotten right, you're disqualified if you make one mistake. Life is more like a baseball season,where even the best team loses one third of its games and even the worst team has its days of brilliance. Our goal is to win more games than we lose.
生活并不是上帝给我们设置的陷阱，所以他会责备我们的失败。生活并不是一场拼字比赛，无论你拼了多少正确的单词，如果你犯了错误，你就是不合格的。生活更像是棒球比赛，即使是最好的球队也会输掉三分一一的比赛，即使最差的球队也有辉煌的时候。我们的目标是赢得比赛的次数要远多于输掉的。

When we accept that imperfection is part of being human, and when we can continue rolling through life and appreciate it, we will have achieved a wholeness that others can only aspire to. That, I believe, is what God asks of us -- not "Be perfect", not "Don't even make a mistake", but "Be whole."
当我们接受不完美是生活中的一部分时，当我们继续在生活中前行，并理解生活时，我们就会达到别人热切希望的完整。我相信那就是上帝要求我们做的——不要完美，不要仅仅只犯一个错误，而是要完整。

If we are brave enough to love, strong enough to forgive, generous enough to rejoice in another's happiness, and wise enough to know there is enough love to go around for us all, then we can achieve a fulfillment（履行，实行） that no other living creature will ever know.
如果我们能够勇敢地爱，勇敢地去原谅，能慷慨地因为别人的幸福而快乐，能够聪明地知道我们周围有足够的爱，那么我们就完成其他生灵从未知道的完整。
