对文化产业的技术援助

The 8th Shenzhen International Cultural Industries Fair came to an end on Monday. Many of the fair's participants and visitors recognized the exhibit of creative technologies as the highlight of their trip. Let's take a look at how technology is aiding the cultural industry.

This building that looks like a curling stone is the latest cinema prototype by OCT, Shenzhen's leading tourism and properties enterprise that now heavily invests in the cultural scene. The immersive dome screen puts viewers at the heart of the action, and its 3-dimensional sound system now replaces the conventional surround sound, all of which aims to create an ultimate cinema experience that no flat movie screens can compete with.

Wu Siyuan, vice president of Shenzhen Oct Holding company says, "The dome screen has been a big hit at this year's cultural fair, but that's not all from us. We received orders from around the world worth 1.2 billion Yuan in total, which supports our decision to invest in the cultural industry."

And OCT wasn't the only exhibitor that is exploring with the visual and aural experience. The new projection designs from YATU moved the screens out of conference rooms. Now you can see vivid moving images in buildings, and on the street. The developers hope their output can be used in a variety of places to create more commercial value such as at theaters, theme parks and office buildings.

Liu Dawei, chairman of China Artists Assoc. says, "It's a promising trend that the exhibitors now attempt to combine art and technology, and introduce them to more people in the fair. Art has always been a part of daily life, and still is in the digital age."

And it's not all about the glamorous view. One exhibitor at the fair has found a perfect way to transfer the images from paper to other materials. For instance, the shrimps and children on Qi Baishi's ink paintings are now able to travel to the body of small items, such as teapots. These smart ideas have enlightened both fair visitors and participants at the cultural industries fair.
